If you like to use STP or similar fuel additives read on to find out how to save about 500% on the cost (at the pump) and get a much better product.
I have always given my baby the best, using gas additives every few thousand miles to keep her at peak performance. I sometimes planned ahead and bought it at Wmart for 2$ a bottle but most of the time it wasn't on my mind till at the pump....then it would cost like $3.79.
A few years ago I learned of Amsoil PI gas additive. I use it now every few oil changes to remove performance robbing deposits in my fuel system. Since the 16 oz bottle costs $7.55 and you get 11 uses per bottle (6oz inital cleaning, 1oz maintence cleaning) I save a ton of money. It costs me now an average of $0.69 (69 cents) per use. Thats way better than the old $3.79.
Actually I paid even less by being a Amsoil dealer (about $6.42/bottle or 58 cents/ treatment). Amsoil Dealerships cost $30 per year to get wholsale pricing. You then get the difference between wholesale and retail (15-20%) if someone else buys the product from you....via free website, catalog, retail account, and/or downline sponsorships.
If you only want to buy at wholesale pricing and not sell products you can pay $10 for 6 mo. perfered customer pricing or $20 to be a 1 year perfered customer...either way you get wholesale pricing.
If you have any questions on applications feel free to contact me at gulfsidesynthetics@cox.com. My sponsor is a 19 year Ford Engineer in Michigan and I can help you with any fluid and/or Fluid questions you may have.
