I choose this combo from all of the positive reviews on this site and it had the highest gains and price points reviewed by 5.0 mag!
All Items arrived, well packed with complete and detailed install instructions.
Install went well, but you will need a t-20 torx bit to remove the maf sensor (it was not supplied with my kit) during the install. I noticed the plastic Air filter mounting plate was touching the rad hose and touching a brake line on top of the junction box (this could just be my GT) I choose to trim the plate away for more clearance from these areas with a dremel , easy enough..
Closing the hood and continuing with the SCT install is just plain simple, it is connected to the OBD-II port just under the dash on the drivers side. With key off connect and follow the instructions on the hand held display. pick your options and enter, it's that simple. (be sure to check out the live wire feature on SCT's web site, it's great for tweakers that can use the data logging features to tune furthermore)
This combo really woke my GT up! Acceleration, throttle lag and sound are much improved! I would really suggest buying a JLTCAI and SF3 combo to liven up the GT that much more
Even though I had no problems with the install, I rated this combo a 7 out of 10 due to the fact I had to trim the mounting plate.. if this was not the case I would have rated it higher, your experience with the Air filter plate may be different but be warned my car was a stock original with no modification beforehand.
