When trying to push more than 15 lbs of boost with your Paxton or Vortech supercharger, the original 6 rib belt arrangement will slip, reducing the effectiveness of the system. The SHM 8 rib kit solves this problem by replacing the stock 6 rib pulleys with 8 rib ones, offering a 33% increase in grip and eliminating slippage. Race proven on 9 second drag cars, and still retains full A/C capability.
