Description: Kit Features:

Wilwood’s high performance heavy duty front disc brake kit offers increased stopping power and cooling while drastically reducing unsprung and rotating weight. These kits are designed for vehicles over 2800 pounds that are equipped with either drum or disc rear brakes. The kit includes Wilwood’s four piston Billet Dynalite racing caliper with corrosion resistant stainless steel pistons.

To ensure rapid heat dissipation during heavy braking applications, a ventilated .81” thick cast iron rotor is used. Also included are aluminum hubs with bearings, seals and studs, high friction disc brake pads, billet mounting brackets and hardware with detailed installation instructions. Also available in our heavy duty kits is the hi-tech Polished Billet Dynalite Caliper.

Application:
1965 - 1969 Mustang, (11.75” rotor): 140-4304-B
1971 - 1978 Mustang II: 140-2129-B

Pros: great stopping ability
Cons: lots of noise

Like I've said in other reviews, I build hot rods and all we use is Wilwood brakes for those that want disc brakes. They are a great company. The problem with the heavy duty brakes is there is just way too much noise than to be desired. We've tried light, medium, and heavy duty, and medium is well, the happy medium. You won't be disappointed with it's stopping ability, only by it's annoying noise.
