After much research I finally decided on Borla. Removal of the improved but still cheesy stock pipes and installation of the new parts were a breeze; on a lift of course. You'll notice the stock pipes have a nice "dent" on each one; for clearance/factory/production issues - not the Borla pipes, just smooth mandrel bends througout. Adjusting the tips was tedious but I'm fussy. The 4" rolled tips fill out the exhaust cut outs much better than the cheesy stock tips. As soon as I fired it up; I got a dent in my pants - something that didn't really happen with the stock set up. Very nice exhaust burble at idle; nice smooth note on excelleration; WOT it roars with authority. The sounds are intoxicating; you'll find yourself revvving at stoplights and other times just to hear it. Who needs a stereo with such awesome exhaust "music"? I was worried about resonance; there's just a little at various RPMs, but not as bad as I first expected; not bad at all really. Go for it; you will not be disappointed!!!!

The exhaust system was very straightforward and easy to install! The ease of adjustment was very nice as I'm very picky and wanted to look perfect. The 4 inch tips are awesome and look great . The sound is unequaled by any that I have heard. There are if you out there that are louder but they sound raspy in my opinion. The Borla has the sound of authority! It has a 1,000,000 mile warranty that is second to none. I will definitely install it on my next Mustang. 01 GT
