Description: Molded from 25% mineral filled, 15% fiberglass reinforced Hylon Nylon 6. This is the same material used for many OEM engine covers such as the LS-1 series for the Corvette. It is good to temperatures above 350 degrees F. The finish is a high heat urethane black or silver paint. Four standard options include: black or silver paint finish and with or without the "GT" logo. All of the Mustang GT colors other than black and silver are available for an additional charge.

Plenum cover cleans up the look of the GT's engine bay and gives you the look that Ford had under the hood on the original Mustang concept cars. Cover bolts into place over the plenum with four existing studs, so it's easy to take off and put on.

Pros: Nice item to dress up the stock engine; made in USA
Cons: nothing

Easy way to enhance your engine compartment. New mustang owners all know without a plenum cover the engine looks kinda cheesy. I put on the silver model with a GT emblem (as shown); installation is very quick and easy. My engine looks now like it should have in the 1st place; (Ford motors cutting costs again). You can get this one or other styles and colors to customize to your own taste.
