What it says it does: Optimum Leather Protectant is another innovative product from OPT that cleans, restores, and protects leather surfaces, vinyl surfaces, and moldings. Optimum Protectant Plus has a balance of cleaners, penetrating oils, and UV inhibitors that restores the original color of these surfaces, protects against and hides any scratches, and protects against sun damage.
Dries to the touch and isn't greasy.
What I say it does: We used this product for the first time today on our 1993 White leather seats. My husband detailed the inside while I worked on the outside... Our seats were extremely dirty with many creases holding dirt... we also have a running pony on both our headrests which he was carefuly not to really touch - so as the stitching would remain closed.
The seats, being 16 years old - were very much brightened up with this product - it's not greasy and I was able to comfortable drive the care immediately after application. Overall, this product was actually more than we expected and we would highly recommend this leather cleaner and conditioner. It's not going to make your seats like new but will certainly spruce them up!!
