MSD Ford Billet Distributors are ready to perform on the street or the track! These distributors are built around a great looking billet aluminum housing that has been machined to exact tolerances. The base of these Ford distributors are made of a strong, glass reinforced material called Rynite. Rynite is injection molded around a plate of 1/8" thick steel. This produces a strong, vibration dampening base which supports the maintenance-free magnetic pickup as well as the mounting for the distributor cap spacer. MSD engineers fit the top of the distributor shaft with our mechanical advance assembly so adjustments are simple. This assembly is made up of chrome moly weights with staked and tig welded pins. Under the QPQ coated weights are nylon busings to keep the advance operating smoothly throughout the rpm span of the engine. Different springs and stop bushings are supplied to give you up to 24 different curves to choose. The distributors are supplied with a large diameter cap for maximum protection against crossfire. The Billet Distributors must be used with an MSD Ignition Control.

Do not waste your money. Stick with the Motorcraft OEM distributor. My tach does not work correctly with this dist and the engine has a off idle stumble. I called MSD but they are useless. I was able to fix the problem by taking apart the dist and replacing the stator and TFI mod with new Motorcraft parts. I DO NOT recommend this product unless you enjoy needless agravation.
