Description: Flexing of the strut towers, both fore/aft and side to side, causes unpredictable alignment and handling changes, lack of roll coupling, vibration and metal fatigue. The MM Strut Tower Brace keeps the strut towers from moving relative to each other, by providing a load path between the strut towers and between each strut tower and the firewall. This will prevent alignment from changing under braking and cornering, making the car more stable and predictable. In addition, the increase in rigidity from the strut tower brace will also reduce firewall and dashboard vibration, metal fatigue and noise.

Pros: Perfect fit, excellent design, quality, construction and strength
Cons: none that I know of

I first purchased Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower Brace for my 1989 Mustang Coupe and was so impressed with the overall design, quality and construction, I later purchased a second one for my 1992 Mustang Convertible. I particularly like the way it attaches to the firewall. It bolts directly to the pinch welds, which are far stronger than just bolting to the firewall's paper thin metal like others on the market. I am very impressed with the design and construction of this product and have no hesitation recommending it to others. From my experience, this is a very high quality product at a very reasonable price!

Pros: Clear detailed instructions
Cons: Won\'t work with aftermarket cold air kits

I went to install the product and found that it will not work with an aftermarket cold air kit. They do not say this when you speak with them on the phone unless you pointedly ask if it will work. Also it does not say that it will not work with a cold air kit in any of their literature. All the other maximum motorsports products that I have have been well worth the money but not this one.
