For the serious enthusiast, TOKICO offers 5-position adjustable shocks and struts called Illumina. The adjustment system provides you with the ability to set your car up for a variety of uses. TOKICO Illumina adjustable shocks and struts were designed for tuning street suspensions. Even so, some units work quite well on the race track. Steeda, a well known Mustang tuner, has used Illumina adjustables very effectively on both their road race and their drag race cars. The Illumina units not only work well, but Steeda people have been very pleased with their durability.
A simple click of a screwdriver allows you to change for ride or handling balance. So whether you are going to the track, or simply cruising, the Illumina range of adjustment can adapt to your needs. Internally, the Illumina uses TOKICO’s sophisticated multi-stage variable-aperture piston and valve system combined with a 5-position bypass shutter-valve. This adjustment system makes it possible to adjust both rebound and compression damping simultaneously. A detent on the shutter-valve helps adjustment ease so that you can make quick changes and still know which setting you have chosen.

I started using Tokico 5 way adjustables in my 89 5.0 coupe about 6-7 years ago. Three years ago I installed a set in my 92 5.0 Mustang Convertible. The ability to adjust the ride firmness from 1 to 5 settings is fantastic, especially considering both of my stangs have been lowered. Within a few minutes, I can easily switch from a very smooth day to day drive setting to a much firmer ride, by simply dialing in a higher setting. I have no hesitation in recommending these to anyone looking for excellent high performance struts and shocks combo. These deliver both on the street and on the track.

I only have the shocks but i intend to upgrad my struts as well. The diffrence over stock is huge.
