Description:
These high quality steel strut tower braces stiffen late model Mustang's and are designed to clear all production and many aftermarket components and accessories such as Ford Racing intake manifolds and aftermarket superchargers. These braces come complete with all necessary fasteners and instructions. Braces are "E" coated and painted for corrosion resistance. These kits are extremely competitively priced.
On the 1994-95 5.0L/302 Mustangs only, it replaces the production brace.
Application:
1979-1993 Mustang: M-20201-A50 * Will not fit 1979-85 Mustang with dual snorker air cleaner. Must use Motorsport M-9600-A302 air cleaner, or equivalent.
1994-95 Mustang: M-20201-A51
1996-03 Mustang: M-20201-D46

Pros:
tight front end
Cons:
makes working on engine more difficult, even just to add oil
this brace made a very noticeable improvement in cornering on my 91 5.0!
I didnt give it an excellent rating though because now its in the way everytime I work on the engine. Even oil changes became a pain in the A$$ because the center brace is right above the fill. To remove it is also a PITA!

Pros:
Really stiffened the convertible and cowl shake is now a minimum issue
Cons:
Have'nt really experienced difficulty on working on the car but if I go with a K/B supercharger the brace is history

FRRP parts fit without any worry. I usually go with them when I can however many are not as extreme as I would like in all cases. In the case of this part however it braces the front strut tops just like it is supposed to.
