they are supposed to stick for a couple seconds, if it stays constant or jumps high then its more than likely your IAC (Idle Air Control valve) or you may have a dirty or bad MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor) like said above check it for codes. but if it sticks for a sec or so then drops thats normal. I have my IAC unplugged because of some unexplained idle issues and it drops instantly but most people say the engine shouldn't even run with it unplugged and if it's cold i have to hold up the rpm's while it warms up. the rpm stick bugs the hell outta me too lolwelcome to the forums
