Red line

So the 2.3 has 55 mph on the speedo in red. I assume this to mean "red line" like the
tachometer shows. Say im driving on the highway, this 2.3 can only go about 90mph right?
(im assuming this i have not tried). the highways around me are 65 mph and usually the slowest drivers are doing 65. even in the right lane you are holding up traffic doing 65. (i live in MA). is driving 75-80 in this thing on the highway like driving other cars 140, or should i say, driving a different car at its maximum speed. It cant be healthy for the car to drive at its max speed for any extended period of time am i right? should i just stick to driving extremely slow on the highway?

Back years ago when the speed limit was 55 mph some of the manufacturers highlighted the 55 on the speedometer as a reminder to the driver about the speed limit. Nothing to do with the engines ability.
