Head gasket replacement question

Hi I have an 05 mustang basicly I found small amount of bubbles in my coolant and then used a sniffer and there was exhaust gases detected, so a head gasket is slowly giving out,

I got told that its impossible to do the job in the car, engine has to come out, really upset cuz I thought I could have done it myself, anyone did a head removal while engine still in the car?

I don`t know who told you that you had to pull the engine:

It's PITA but you can R&R the head gaskets without pulling the engine.

Use the Ford racing head changing kit M-6067-3V46 it's $80. The valve and timing cover seals are reusable.

Seeing that you're supercharged I'll surmise detonation is what took out the gasket so if I were you I'd make sure the tune/fuel system is right so you don't pop another one.

I have ARP studs and R&R'd the heads on my car twice .. Passenger side is fairly easy, driver's side not so much but you can get it off.

You may get lucky and it's the passenger side .. Since you're seeing bubbles in the overflow tank, 1st thing to do is pull the plugs and look for the one[s] that are being steamed cleaned.
