The problem with the older Cherry Bombs, is they didn't last too long. Especially when mounted close to the headers, the glass burned out rather quickly. If I had a dollar for every set of side pipes I installed back in the 70's, I'd have some serious beer money. Wish I would have kept that 1970 Boss 302 Cougar Eliminator I had.



07 GT premium in Grabber Orange. 5spd. manual w/ a few bolt-ons.

Yep, my first car had a big old set of chrome side pipes. Basically long glass packs. They were run off of the stock exhaust manifolds though (no headers). They sounded awesome and packed down nicely. The car was an auto so it was a lot of fun putting it down in low when you went down a hill...rumble, rumble, pop,pop,pop.
