Dash replacement

Hey guys,

I'm looking to replace my dash from the base plastic black to a silver one. I've found something like this on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/323046191115. I am not sure how easy it is to replace this. I've only found a video of someone replacing the gauge and it looked pretty simple but i don't know about the rest of the parts. Did anyone did this or maybe someone can point me to some instructions how to do it ?

All those panels simply pop off with the exception of the Air Bag panel. That one is dangerous, and may require special electronic aids, tools, and training. I would not recommend messing with it.

I had one Mustang with the silver panels and hated them because of the huge reflection in the windshield, so much so that I particularly sought out one with the black panels for my next one. Besides, the rest of my newer interior is also black. The older one was parchment.

Hm i thought you can just disconnect the battery and you can temper with the airbag without worrying that it might go off.

Yeah, like I said, special training. Without the information in the article attached to post #4. said tampering will be a mistake.
