Just got an SCT X4 tuner need some help

Watched a few videos on YouTube to learn how to use it. I have a cold air intake, and an off road x pipe. I don't know if my CAI or x pipe will be in it. I have a Roush CAI. Is there a setting for it? Do I need to remove that pipe inside on the MAF before I tune it? I'm going to turn off the rear O2 in a bit and leave the rest stock for now until I get some more info.

Your expectations on turn-around time might be a little unrealistic; even though I am late per your expected SLA (Service Level Agreement) for response time, .... :-)

two suggestions:
1) if you don't really know what you are doing, don't mess with it . . . buy a tune from someone who knows what they are doing

2) if you really want to mess with it -- go into the tuner and see what settings are available. I think the tuner provides settings for specific intakes, or it might go by MAF metering section diameter

I was told to use 3 different CAI. I have to take out a tube in it the MAF goes in. I forgot to.

I encourage you to follow JBertís advice #1, eventually you may regret not doing so.

Since you didnít mention where you purchased the tuner, I guess itís used? If you purchase a new SCT X4 from most reputable dealers, you can get 1-3 tunes for free. I would suggest you contact a tuner and get a custom tune. Youíll be glad you did...

For the nicest customer service Id contact LITO . he was also the cheapest . I dont know if he has changed the price. I have also used STEEDA and also been pleased with . there is a slight difference in the 2 but not sure which way as I havnt had chance to do any back to back testing.

If you want a flawless tune from one of the top tuners in the country, contact Ken Bjonnes with Palm Beach Dyno. His knowledge, experience and training makes him one of the top tuners for SN95, S197 & S550 Mustangs.
