another ticking question

The backstory: I have a 2005 gt. I have few bolt on upgrades, frpp cams, bbk headers, 40lb injectors and most recently I installed a kenne bell supercharger. At some point before the supercharger install I got a p0340. Ended up the timing chain jumped a tooth.... or so I think. I reset the timing and the p0340 went away, but upon start I heard a loud ticking noise that wasn't there before. I was pretty confident that it was lifter noise so I replaced all the lifters and rollers. Tick did not stop. For some reason I decided to unplug the connector to cylinder #1 coil and the tick stopped..... connect it again and the ticking started again. I did that about ten more times because I couldn't understand why it was doing that. I bought new coils, nothing changed. I did a compression test and everything is good there. At this point I'm totally lost and would appreciate any information.

Ps. I also have an issue with the evap system. The evap solenoid won't open causing the idol to be very low and the car will die coming to a stop but if I disconnect the vacuum line going to the supercharger the idol is stable. The connector doesn't seem to have power. Not sure if the tune is has it turned off or not.

I am way out of my depth here, but just wondering in case it might help someone who knows more: was the tick there before the supercharger, or did it appear immediately after the supercharger install?

It was not present before the supercharger install. It started after I reset the timing to fix the p0340.

Also, the p0340 was present before the supercharger install and I drove with it for about 1000 miles.
