JET Performance 17043 Speedo tuner work with a 2010 GT?

Does anyone have a JET Performance 17043 for their 2010 GT? I recently did a gear swap and now have a engine light on too and apparently this tuner can recalibrate the speedo for tire sizes and gear ratios, and can also read codes. Just asking to make sure this tuner actually works with my car.

The other tuner Im looking at is a Hypertech 742501, does the same thing but doesnt read codes, does anyone have this tuner and does it work with a 2010 GT?

I have never heard of those tuners and don't know if they are compatible, but I would think that you could look them up on line and their specifications should tell you what cars they work with and what they do.

The change of gears should not cause any check engine light; there is no sensor that would tell the computer that anything has been changed there.

SCT is the de-facto standard tuner for these cars, and they can fix the speedo calibration and also check "engine codes" (not body codes); I am not sure why you are looking at those other ones, except maybe they are cheaper . . . ?
