Hmm, could be cobbled together. Other than the fact that it's dirty right now, it looks way better than the work I've had from muffler shops, and the fit is spot-on. I never considered that someone would build an axle-back system for a Mustang, considering how many options and price ranges are available.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not against scrimping on certain car parts when the big brand name parts are rediculously over priced.
Hell, go ahead and Google what I'm running.
It's a cheap race muffler but the intake and the outputs are staggered and have the V shaped baffles in them like their cousins the duel chamber mufflers. I love the chambered muffler sound on our 4.6 but duels were too quiet IMO, that's why I run these race mufflers.
I can see why, from your picture, that you say they are way too loud. It's almost a straight through design inside a metal box and who knows, what kind, if any, baffles are in there.
