JDM Engineering They are a well known shop in jersey. Better off calling them and getting a quote. You will probably end up with a saleen blower lol.

You can get a built short block for 3,200 and then sale your stock block on Ebay

[email protected]? No wonder you're burned out, stl. Got taken to the cleaners on that deal. You could've installed a FRPP Aluminator for that kind of investment.

That was going to be my suggestion. It will also reduce down time signifigantly.

Check out MMR (Modular Mustang Racing) for some pretty solid deals on stroker shortblocks.

You'll likely pay through the nose to have a shop install the assembly.

Regarding ONLY the amount of time that might be required for the installation process to be completed, a builder in my area (Indianapolis) quoted roughly 8 hours of labor to install the rotating assembly if the engine/block was already pulled and an additional 3 hours if it wasn't.

(Let me add that the assembly is being custom built and that the time quoted does not include labor for the same.)

Also need to factor in block prep and inspection.

Not really... That also included pulling & reinstalling the engine and sending it out for inspection/balancing.

My guy's quote was 11 hours total for everything. He also guaranteed the work, telling me if anything whatsoever went wrong - even at the strip - that it would be fixed free of charge.

He said he'd even give me a ride home and a towel to cry in

If he can do it in 11 hours, he is EXTREMELY fast. Don't quote me, but I think the cylinders need to be bored .020 for a 302 stroker kit. I'm not doubting him, but that's pretty quick for an install this involved.

But if he is guaranteeing his work, I guess it's ok. I'd definitely hold him to it.
