Adam is the guy who does my tuning on my car as well.

I would NEVER build an NA block for these cars. It's cool and all to have NA like STL but its a waste of money. Unless you only ever want 410ish rwhp and never more with out nitrous stay away.

One reason when you build the block up to run NA you raise your compression thus making it impossible to run a blower. Well not impossible just not smart.

If you want a car that is going to blow doors off get a built motor. MMR sales them for 3200 and port and polish your heads and install a cam. Now this is NA so to say but set it up with 8.5.1 Compression so its a blower motor.

You will get at most 360 rwhp I have seen out of a well built 5.0 stroker blower motor. The thing is though as soon as you pack the turbo on your pushing 700rwhp on pump gas.

This is if money is not an option like you said it does. If you want an unstoppable car you will spend about 17k to finish every thing. Thats engine work, suspension, chassis, wheels/tires, and blower. If you have an Auto you will need slight transmission work for it to handle the excessive power but the stock auto is capable of reaching 9's. The 5 spd well just drive with it until it falls apart.

Expect your entire build to take around 6 months to finish and another 2 months to get all the bugs out of it so it runs perfect. Ask any one who has built a actual built blower car its the BIGGEST PAIN IN THE A$% but well worth it. When I mean built blower car I dont mean 450-500rwhp I mean capable of 700

Good advice...for a drag car.

I didn't realize this was a drag-race only forum. Is that the assumption?

Anyone can build a 10-second over-the-top ET monster that sits in the garage 6 days out of the week. But for a daily driver, who needs 700 hp? 700 hp is unusable anywhere but at the drag strip with slicks.

For most daily or weekend cruisers, any more than 350-400 rwhp is unpleasant, expensive, and loud.
