A supercharger would be a good start but if that RX-7 is a twin turbo, good luck. A co-worker of mine has an 800 rwhp twin turbo RX-7.

If money isn't a real big problem then look at what Livernois has They seem to be really up on what make HP with the 281s.

Supercharger/Turbo of course is the biggest improvements Saleen, KB, Whipple all make good superchargers, Vortech and Hp performance have good turbo kits. if you plan on making 500+ rwhp build the engine up. new driveshaft, CAI, tuner, gears, thw works. Theres tons of stuff to do. You have a goal for this beast?

Everyone's doing a supercharger these days. Be different...build the engine for real with a stroker, head porting, and new cams.

Bulid a short block and then get a turbo and crank up the boost. Power House makes a great turbo kit.

Power House Turbo, SCT-X-Cal2, Diablo MAFia, CDC Shaker, CDC Aggressive Front Chin, 3DCarbon Grill, CHE UCA, LCA, Kmember Brace, SPEC 3+ LPP option, AEM Wide band and Electronic Boost Controler, SOS Piller Pod.

yes and no

it is a jet engine thats why it was a joke
but jokes now on you cause a blackhawk is a helicopter and a SR-71 BLACKBIRD was the worlds fastest plane but they retired it...

If you're truly not worried about money for modding then sell your '05 and buy a new KR: you'll probably find yourself "blowing away" most of what's out there and look like a million dollars doing it (ok, maybe only $40,000.00 doing it).

But remember: there's always somebody who has a bigger badder vehicle that will "blow YOU away".

Wow, can I get a problem like that?

For your HP wants/desires, it may be beneficial to build yourself an engine and throw a butt-load of bolt-on stuff and some sort of FI. I'm not a fan of FI without forged internals, especially with the numbers you are seeking. Other's may disagree, but with the luck I have, I like my way to give me a warm and fuzzy.

Check out this link S197forum Chevykiller has done a lot to his car.

This link Irwindale Drag Strip. Chevykiller just got back his car and the results are from last night (17 Apr 08).

Give Adam a call at ST Motorsports. He does everything and is one of the best on the west coast.
