2005 Mustang GT Convertible AC Problem
Well it was 85 degrees today! 2nd day of Mustang to work after a long winter...when I leave it was hot and turn on the AC and guess what? Warm air! Last year I had same problem they recharged the freon and put a dye into it and had me come back a week later to check for leaks with a U/V lamp. Apparently it is a slow leak! Anyone have similar problems? What was the fix?
Only 4K miles on the car...
I would take it back and have them do it again. It doesn't take a week for the dye to show up. and they also have sniffers that can detect freon leeks. Back to the dealer.
