2005+ Mustang. What grease to use for CHE lower control arms?

I put the grease that Che supplies on the Upper control arm,and not the lower. I did not find it untill later when I opened the Upper control arm package up. I used Moblie 1 synthetic on the lowers. I used the supplied grease on the upper control arm.I am pretty sure grease is grease. Is this not correct?

I believe you want to use a silicone-based grease on those bushings. Regular grease can cause them to crack down the line. I picked up some Valvoline multi-purpose grease when I did mine because the packages of grease that came with the arms were crushed during shipping. It doesn't say "SILICONE BASED GREASE" but it does say that it is for suspension parts, so I used it and have been running strong for a year. Just lube them up with a finger-full or use a brush.

You want a synthetic grease but not silicone based.
