Dyno and Tune next week what mods?

I am new to the forum, so please put up with my newbie question. Okay, I have a 2006 GT convertible that is my day drive. I don't want to risk reliability issues or increase fuel consumption. The mods done so far are MRT mid H pipe with high flow cats, magnaflow axle backs, and a drop in K&N filter (not CAI). If sound and "feel" are more important than actual hp gain, what would you suggest should be my next mod at the time of tuning: 1) CAI (i.e., JLT or Steeda), or 2) replace stock short headers with aftermarket shorty headers (I don't want to alter my current mid pipe and go mid or long tube). I learned from you guys that many of you feel acutally going to 4.10 gears would be the "best bang for the buck," but I am concerned about increased gas consumption and potential reliability issues associated with gears. What would you do given the parameters described. Thanks for all your help.

I would go with a CAI either a C&L or JLT. you will need a SCT for the dyno tune. The shorty headers are almost worthless. And for what you want I would stay with the gears you have

Get a C&L or JLT CAI intake, drop your H-pipe, put on a true X-pipe, 4.10's, and some steeda underdrive pulleys, and you will have a whole new mustang.
