2008 Mustang GT LT Headers?

I have an 08 Mustang GT with the Flowmaster exhaust and an off road x-pipe and stock headers. I am ready to change to the long tube headers. I just wanted some opinions on the best long tube header set up to get. I plan on sticking to no cats when i change because I like the extra flow and agressive sound. I do use it to race, so I would like some LT headers that will add as much extra HP and Torque. I have more done to my mustang than just this if any extra info is needed just ask

ARH, Hooker, JBA, Kooks and a number of others all make fine LTs, both coated and non-coated. You'll read/hear lots of views about 1 5/8" vs. 1 3/4" LTs but the consensus from what I've researched is that unless you're making at least 600-700 HP the 1 5/8" are fine.

One thing I would highly recommend is that you consider some form of coating (JetHot makes several "flavors" as do the OEM LT makers). What that does is both speed exhaust gas flow (and improve scavenging) and, importantly, help keep underhood temperatures lower.

I have the JBA's and they are great. I've heard SLP's are the longest so i would think they would do the best job of exhaust scavenging therefore giving you the most power. JBA kooks ARH SLP all seem to be good picks.
