Thanks BKid! I roam every now and then. Sounds like you have the perfect setup. For anyone thinking about doing this mod...pay close attention to whether you are looking at a passage hole, or a bearing pressed into a hole. There are a few bearings that should be removed as well. They are just pressed in and come out relatively easy with a small drift punch tapped from the opposite side in which they were pressed.

I didn't even think about the bearings. That could be bad if one of those suckers dislodged.

I did it. Drilled out the pins removed butterflies then the shaft. sealed up all my holes with the clay that hardens up(dont remember what its called) about 2 yrs now. check on it a few mths ago and doing fine. U do need a tune for it. Cost nothing. I to like to spend my money on other mods.

You used epoxy??? Like JB Weld?

I figured someone else had done it too. I hate to pay someone else to do what I'm capable of myself. Congratulations!
