Exclamation New TSB 07 Mustang. Suspension:Rear Shocks

4TSB No.:01011901NHTSA No.:10020921TSB Date:n/aDate Added to File:January 30, 2007Failing Component:

Unfortunately, this wasnt listed under the TSB thread yet on this forum. Does anybody have the details on this? I have been hearing a "clunk" sound every once in a while going over bumps. I was wondering if this is it.

I haven't heard of anyone having a rear shock problem yet.

Is that what your hearing and did you determin it's form the rear? The front swaybar links are a known clunker as are the stock strut mounts usually when you lower the car.

All it says is rear shock service. Doesn't indicate that anything has actually failed. Wish we had the Ford TSB #.

my left rear shock has had a oily residue around it for the last year I think...I noticed it when I did my CHE pieces but had so called forgotten about it.
then I get the new rotors and install them and I see this leaky shock. I have a appointment for tomorrow evening at the dealer. Ill let them know about this TSB. thanks!!
