question about gauge light

i have been having an issue with my gauges lighting up. not sure how it is on the gt, as the rough gauges light up a greenish color when u turn the lights on. the needles light up red.

sometimes, and only sometimes, it will not light up when i put my headlights on. i have tried dimming the lights and making them go back to full power and that doesnt seem to do anything. i have checked the fuses and there is nothing wrong there. the needles light up fine but i cant seem to figure out what is wrong.

any ideas?

Sounds like a problem with the instrument cluster.
