Take a look at the Pypes LTs from Brenspeed. They are supposed to be exact copies of the Kooks but they are in the $700 range versus the $1200-1300 for the Kooks.

Sorry but Kooks are well worth the wait.I ordered mine july 16 and just got them last week. They had to be shipped to jet hot for coating then back to kooks for inspection, during this inspection kooks noticed a flaw in the coating and sent them back for a do over. Now with them being that picky and saving me headaches i'd say they were well worth the wait.

Pypes are also made in China. I recently installed JBA headers. At 1st, I had a fitment issue where they were hitting the frame of the car. A prybar and 2 minutes later I was in business. At 1st I was a bit miffed, but when I drove the car I was more than satisfied with power increase.

+1 on Maryland Speed. I had mine coated and it only took about a week. Excellent customer service and you can track the whole process on their site from Kooks to the coater to your door.

If they play, I spray.
