I had to re-tune my GT

I have been running my '10 GT with Brenspeed 93 tune which I love. Yesterday I noticed the car driving like stock with lower throttle response and much lower torque. When I got home today I downloaded the 93 tune again and everything is back to where it should be. The only thing I can think of is the last time I drove the car I had it up to 135 mph tacking it to around 6500 rpm. Could this of caused it to reset to stock?

Not sure, but I do have a question. What gears do you have? 3.73? and I take it you were in 5th gear at 135MPH at 6500RPM?

The car can't reset back to stock on it's own.

I was thinking...Maybe because you were bouncing off the rev limter the car's computer went to some default state to reduce power to make sure the engine did'nt blow or get damaged????

How long did you have it redlined for?

That's the PCM's adaptive learning that's causing that. It adjusts to the way you drive. Reflashing or disconnecting the battery resets the keep-alive memory in the PCM.

135mph x 4.10 gears x 336 / 27" (guessing) x .68 5th gear reduction = 4,863rpm.... Your tires would have to be around 19" tall to peg 6,[email protected] In 4th, 135mph = 6,888rpm....... Clarification dude!

Ummm i'm pretty sure your wrong dude. These cars top out at about 150-155 I believe, and thats with stock 3.31's. I am pretty sure 135 is about right with 410's.

Pretty sure......

No worries dude, but the math is what it is, re-read the info. We've got 6,500rpm, 5th gear, 4.10's. In 5th, even with 4.10's, top speed is much higher than 135mph. In fact, if you pegged 6,500rpm with 27" tires, EXACTLY 27" loaded height and 4.10 gears, your top speed would be 187.34627997540479606476737036278mph.
So a speedo is seriously out and massive speed was achieved, or it was not 5th, or lower geared than 4.10's. Not that it matters, just curious really.
