Coilover suspension for S197

Are coilovers worth the price tag? Seems like they are the crim de le crim as far as suspension goes but man, they are expensive!! Can I achieve similar results with just springs, lower control arms, etc.?

Coil Overs are worth it if your racing and you need to fine tune your suspension during a race and for different venues, it will give you better suspension geometry as well.

You can get a great handling Mustang with standard springs & Shock/Struts for way less and still have fun and be competative.

I say put that extra money towards other mods uless the car is used for race more than street.

I went with the coil overs because I want to learn about tuning suspensions for the track. I have found that I have made the ride more comfortable on the street, I am waiting to get on the track to see how it works there.

Eibach Mutli-Pro Coil Over Suspension, BMR K Member & Adjustable Lower Control Arms, Steeda Bump Steer Kit, Steeda X-5 Ball Joints,Maximum Caster Camber Plates(required maching my Steeda Billet strut tower brace end mounts), CHE Adjustable Lower Contols Arms and Anti Squat Brackets. GT-500 wheels and tires, Ford Racing 14" Brembo brake set-up.

You can do it for much less with other parts.
