Strut tower brace w/ KB SC

I've looked thru threads, emailed vendors and still can't find a strut tower brace that will fit my KB supercharged 08GT w/o either dropping the motor and/or modding the air intake tube. I thought the Alutec would fit, but read a post that said he still had to mod the intake or drop the motor. Anyone w/ a strut tower brace running a KB and still using the original ford hood w/o any modifications? Does it rub/hit anywhere?

Maybe I didn't find the right thread/link. Can you point it out to me?

Thanks

Steeda makes one that fits. They have a couple versions, make sure you get the one for the SC cars.

Strut tower braces are useless, they donít improve anything unless they anchor the strut towers to the firewall with NO flex. So far I have not seen one strut tower brace that does it correctly. Save your money.

Note picture of FR500. If they donít need one, we donít either.

Thanks Sqidd,

I just thought it might help stiffen up the convertible a bit. Guess I'll buy the 2010 air diffuser and hook it up instead. I can't really save my money,...I've got the MOD BUG BAAAAAD!

i added one to my GT vert and it did nothing to stiffen the chassis, it just looks cool IMO and thats why i bought it.
