Thanks to all of you who have fought the battle before me on the water leaks inherent in the 2005 Mustang. We "thought" we had the battle won with some previous sealing work, but as we found today the sealer must have off-gassed and created air holes???
Originally I thought we just had a problem on the passenger side, but unfortunately we're not that lucky. Yesterday, I removed the seat, console and pulled all the carpet back.
Today I removed the hood, wiper cowlings and both front fenders. (It took less than 1 1/2 hours....and I'm a girl!!!) I printed out the TSB on water leaks and now it's time to roll up my sleeves and seal up this car for good.
Since we haven't found a link yet that shows the whole front end of the car exposed, we thought we would post ours for others to see.
Hopefully my post will help others in this same predicament in the furture.:wavey
Okay gang....why can't I see the pictures I attached in my post? What did I do wrong????
Pics are there just have to open them up. That is a snotty looking AMX. What's it got to need those tires?:shigrin
That's going to be some job! May the force be with you. :)
You Go Girl!!!!!!!
