Bolt on Turbocharger

Hello all. New to forum, just wondering if there is a bolt on turbo avail for my 07 GT. I'm a gear head but does installing a turbo require a computer degree or special equip? want to do it all in my garage. Any help would be appreciated.

its not a simple bolt on. I am not sure who makes a kit, but i wouldnt be surprised if hellion makes a kit. first of all you need turbo headers, hot/cold pipes, intercooler, bov, waste gate, boost controler, fuel delivery (inj, pump) air delivery (intake, mas ect). good tune (at a reputable shop). then come the fun stuff. tires, rear gears, trans, suspension. this is not a budget minded procedure. it can cost upwards 10k for a good setup/install/tune.

Hellion does make a kit but the pipes sit real low so if you go over alot of speed bumps or if you ever want to lower the car, fuggetaboutit. It's a nice kit, but I'd recommend the powerhouse kit.

Their site is powerhouse411.com but they're having issues with it not showiing their items so go on there and give them a call. They can tell you all about what they offer.

300 stroker @ 11:1 compression, FRPP Stage 2 heads, 127300 cams, 4r70W, Kooks 1 3/4" lt's with 3" H mid-pipe, FRPP stinger mufflers, B&M ratchet shifter, UPR LCA's, JPC race UCA. E-Force TVS. Engine built by Everett's specialty repair, tuned by Manuel @ tudyno.com 9.98 @ 136.55 1.39 60'

Dude, if you got the money I would seriously consider this. https://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...turbo-kit.html

This don't always happen. The fact that it is a built longblock not a shortblock is crazy as hell with a turbo kit like this. If anyone else knows why this would not be the best timing ever to get this then say so. You can get a supercharger for 4000, say 1100 to install it. Thats 5100. You will never go over 450rwhp until you put forged internals in the car without risk of destroying the engine. Thats about another 7000 after the install. This guy selling this is actually baffling me for the price. Maybe someone can pipe in and say that's not a retarded good deal. He's only got one.

Here is one of the simpler bolt-on turbo systems. no need to deal with the manifolds. STS Squires Turbo Systems - Turbocharged Innovation!

Forged bottom end, Ported heads, Saleen super charger, 2.8 blower pulley/15psi, Dual stage water to air intercooler, AFCO heat exchanger, battery relocated, Twin GT500 fuel pumps, T-56 trans, Aluminum flywheel, Aluminum driveshaft, 3.73 rear gears, Eaton TruTrac Diff, TA Performance rear end girdle, Racecraft suspension system, UCA, LCA, panhard bar, 15" slotted front rotors w/ 6 piston calipers, Carbon Fiber front splitter/rear diffuser, and bunch of other stuff
RWHP/RWTQ is adequate

It is not a simple install but you don't really need any special tools either. Basic mechanics tools will do the job. I put the power house kit in this winter and it wasn't too bad. Hardest thing was getting the exhaust tubes routed around everthing. You will need smeone to tune the car when all is said and done though.
