When I bought my 04 MACH1, and 04 Cobra ( Terminator ), I did my first service at 1,000 miles. I switched everything to a full synthetic. Engine oil, to Castrol Syntec 5W30, Transmission and Differential went to Royal Purple and have been running it since. As a matter of fact, I run the same in all my cars, including my 1967 FAIRLANE GT 427 Competition Proven Car. I run a full synthetic in each one of them, and they all run perfect without any leaks, Mike. SCT Tuner.

70 BOSS,with a 71 429 SCJ 8.0:1 compression with an F-3 Pro Charger and 39lbs. of boost. Rectangular Tube Chassis, Custom 17" Magnum 500 Wheels. Just way too much to list, but what a ride. P.S. Hang on tight!!!

I see zero reason to run full synthetic in these cars. Syn blend is fine.
