Tire Questions Radial or bias ply?

I recently bought a set of cheap drag wheels and a set of 275/60/15 MT drag radials. How well should these tires hook compared to my 275/40/17 nitto DR. I have lowering springs steeda's, so i know that hurts my 60ft, but what rpm and pressure should i run with these? And should i have gotten a bias ply tire or did will i like the radial better. I got a manual tranny, some people told me that the auto's really like the radials and the stick shifts like the old e.t.'s better. What's your guys opinions. My mods are listed in my sig. The best 60ft i got on the nitto's were 1.9's with the 355 factory gears. I'm really hoping for 1.6's. I plan on spraying the car in 1'st if all possible.

4.10's,axel exchange driveshaft, 100 dry shot, K&N CAI, diablo custom tunes, cheapest steeda delete plates, drag thrust wheels, hurst shifter, bbk tuned headers-off road x pype-single chamber flowmaster muff, steeda sport springs, upr sway bar delete, Lakewood upper and lowers.
