heat exchanger coolant tank upgrade

When upgrading to the bigger heat exchanger coolant tank(the one that you need to relocate battery for) would it still be worth it even if you don't upgrade the pump??

Why? All you are doing is increasing your coolant capacity. Your current pump will still handle the task just fine unless it is already failing. It is possible to move coolant too fast and not allow enough time for it to do its magic in the heat exchanger.

You could always replace your coolant overflow tank with a degas tank, which is designed to contantly purge or burp air out of the coolant system, unlike your typical overflow tanks. I've got one on my car.

FRPP makes this:

2005 Sonic Blue Auto GT, ordered new
Procharger D1SC
Thanks JPC Racing!
