Why? All you are doing is increasing your coolant capacity. Your current pump will still handle the task just fine unless it is already failing. It is possible to move coolant too fast and not allow enough time for it to do its magic in the heat exchanger.
You could always replace your coolant overflow tank with a degas tank, which is designed to contantly purge or burp air out of the coolant system, unlike your typical overflow tanks. I've got one on my car.
