First it sounded like a gear slipping. Know all I hear is the motor.

Mine did the same thing. Used to hear the gear noise, now just the motor. I have side air bags, so I am nervous about going into it and try to fix it.

I have the "Click of death" with mine. Took the back of the seat apart as much as I could without taking the whole seat cover off. The lumbar adjust is not an inflatable bag. Looks like a slide that is cable operated. Goes up and down to adjust the lumbar "bump". I did not have time to really get into it so I just buttoned it back up and reinstalled the seat. Looks to me like a bad design. I think the whole seat back has to come apart, ie uncovered to get to the mechanical parts. Someday I will try to fix it but I have grass to mow.....G

I have the same issue, I hate to hear how much it would cost to get it fixed or to have the seat replaced.

Also have the seat incline plastic tab on the back of one seat broken and the handle on the other seat broken. They just don't make em like they used to I guess

Mine went out maybe a year ago. I heard a motor, but nothing was being done. It was still under warranty & the dealer had to replace the entire power seat assembly. It cost them several hundred dollars to fix it.

I had the same problem. Dealer said it was just the bracket that hold the motor in place. When it did break all it did was pop and then all you heard is the motor nosie. If it has warranty take it back to the dealer and good look.
