Question MSD Dashhawk PIDīs Question / Problem, 2007 Mustang GT

Hello together,
had bought me some days ago the MSD Dashhawk OBD2 Reader to the notice of various PIDīs and other value. Unfortunately it does not indicate me the motor oil as well as the transmission oil temperature. According to manufacturer, he should can that however in a 2007 GT. All other goes so far.
Does someone have here experience with this device and/or can indicate these values?
My version is found 2.5.1
I unfortunately found here in the forum nothing in addition. Thank for your information!!!

Greetings,

Mario

Hi Mario,

I don't have any experience with your particular scanner but I can confirm that those two PIDs are in the PCM. They are:

EOT - Engine Oil Temperature

and

TFT - Transmission Fluid Temperature

Hello together,
is there really nobody in this forum, who knows the MSD Dashhawk?

Is it possible, that the GT 2007 has no Sensors for Oil and Automatic Transmission Temperature, and this is the Reason why the Dashhawk shows only N/A for this parameters??
Thanks for your help!!

Greetings, Mario

Mario,

I can tell you the 06 GT does have the sensors and the PIDs.

I think you need to contact MSD Tech Support.

Hello,
yes, youre right. I try this since a few days, but they dont answer!
I think also, that the 07 GT should have the sensors. Yesterday i read the 5R55S Tranny Documentation and there is a temperature sensor.
But in the moment i found nothing about an engine oil temp sensor. Thanks for your answer.

Hello together,
after a lot of different tryings, i bring the MSD Dashhawk 2 to work with my 2007 GT. I transferred different firmware to the system and resetted it sometimes. Now it works.

The starting of a never used or a firmware upgraded system is important! (This informations are not in the user manual)

My results: 1. Plug in the Dashhawk (No Ignition!!) / 2. Wait until screen comes with the message "VIN not Found, Car is not to identify" / 3. Press Enter / 4. Wait until the Car Menu is showed / 5. Select Ford and press enter / 6. Turn the key to ignition position (but dont start) / 7. Press two times enter. It should work!
These results are only from my experience. Maybe someone is also interesting in using this system.
Here are the list of the PIDīs, who my Dashhawk 2 is showing.
