So my SCT X3 tuner seems a little....off. After allowing it to program, it takes longer for the engine to start up. It has no preloaded tunes, just strategies. Are these the same thing? I was under the impression that the device would have a tune to recalibrate, not only the Steeda CAI, but power/torque/MPG as well. I took the tune out and reverted to stock and the engine wouldn't even turn over. Also a wrench and intake emblem light display constantly on the dash when the alleged tune is installed. Any reason why? And with this strategy programmed in my top speed has went from 140 to 120.

Something's off in that tune.

I have heard that for serious problems - and yours does sound serious - if you get on the phone to SCT's support, with your tuner connected to your computer, they will manipulate it so it works. I certainly hope so.
