Guys, thanks for all the replies! My pop always taught me to drive the car around the block a few times to heat up the oil prior to a change, which I did. The pan was rather warm, but not scolding. I will try the breaking bar and the loving touch of a hammer. I'm a little worried about heating the plug w/ a torch only because I don't want the metal to expand. If all else fails, I'll see if I can take her to my cousin's husband's shop since he has a lift. There I'd be willing to hang off the socket wrench like a monkey to loosen her up.

I've never trusted a shop to change the oil, once (my first car) they forgot to add the oil and the engine seized! Another time I got my tires rotated and days later I noticed 2 of 5 lugs on one wheel were missing. Idiots.

If the filter is too tight as well, out comes the screwdriver.

And how do you men fit under a mustang on ramps?! Geez, it was a tight fit for me and I'm only 5'6, 120lbs!

I would to prepare getting a new Oil Pan, maybe the dealership stripped the Screw and welded it in?

Ha, Im about 1,94m tall, so i can lie besides the car and do everything.. just kidding
i changed my Exhaust without a Lift, just lieing on the Garage Floor. And for Oilchange.. i got an about 1.6m deep pit in it, so i can work standing (but havnt used it while working at the exhaust)

I told it, but no one was listening.

i'd bet that it's easier for me to fit than a skinny girl w/ boobs. i'm only 160ish and 5'9" so yeah not big.

as for the oil filter you should just pick up a real oil wrench rather than the crap ones you get at walmart. you can get them that are made with vise grips only they have a chain attached. just wrap the chain around the filter and clamp it shut. there's no way it's going to slip. only will cost you about 20 bucks also. i got one from amazon iirc.
