Have a header leak at the exhaust flange.

I have a header leak at the head. Can I unbolt the motor mounts and jack up the motor with keeping the exhaust bolted up or do I have to drop the exhaust to lift the motor? I just pulled a p1033 code ; which is slow 02 response from righ bank.. I can defintely hear the leaks... Do you guys suggest the Stage 8 locking bolts or to just tighten what I have? Thanks...

It would seem that the bolted up exhaust would prevent the motor from being jacked up as mush as you need to remove the motor mount brackets. What does the leak sound like?
