4.6 -5.0 engine swap

Does anyone know if the new 5.0 cylinder heads will fit the 05-09 4.6 engine block?

Thx in advance for any info.

They may bolt up, but getting them to work is a completely different matter. I don’t think the bores of the 4.6 block are big enough to clear the Coyote valves. You could possibly sleeve the 4.6 block to have a big enough bore but at that point you just spent more than a 5.0 crate motor costs. And that doesn’t take into account the possible oil/water passage differences, possible front cover issues, etc.
