TCI Torque Converter

I've been thinking about a TCI 3000 Torque Converter , to go with my 3.73 gears , anyone have any experience with this , what difference did you see , can I still use my car for a daily driver. I'm trying work on getting my 1/4 et time from 13.4 to 12.90 ,I have an auto , is there a 2 step for an auto ? what can I expect upon launch , also would I still launch the car off of idle , or I will need a 2 step ?
