no it won't work. you can't use a 4.6 intake on a 5.4. the heads are either not at the same angle or they aren't the same distance apart (or both can't remember).

if you're looking to up the boost you can get forged rods & pistons while using your stock crank. this is probably the cheapest way to do it.

Heads, Cams, Edelbrock Eforce, 4.10 & true-trac, TR6060 trans, DSS driveshaft, Full BMR suspension, tokico d-specs, eibach pro kit springs

A 5.4 swap can be done but it is not a small project. The 5.4 block will bolt right in and the 3v heads do work. However, the deck hieght is 1.5" difference versus the 4.6. So a custom intake from jpc or mmr is required. The stock hood will not clear a 5.4 with a kenne bell blower either. Even with adj motor mounts a different hood will be required. Exhaust manifolds or headers is another area to address. Timing cover, chains, tensioners also. I can keep going but bottom line its a big project!

07 GT vert, Satin Silver, 5spd, premium trim, interior upgrade pkg, comfort group, GT appearance package, cloth top

ADDED: 302 Stroker, KB 2.8 Mammoth @ 20psi, DOB belt drive, E85 fed, TR6060, ATI, Cervini hood, Meziere, Pypes Long Tubes, O/R X pipe, FRPP GTA mufflers, 20" Bullitts, Eibach Springs, BMR relo brackets/UCA/LCA`s, FRPP 4.10, etc, etc.

Why not swap a gt500 engine with its supercharger and sell your complete assembly to offset the cost?

JLT series 3 c.a.i., detroit rocker cams, various tunes, roush front fascia w/chin spoiler.

Its actually more expensive to go this route. And its still not a drop it and go.

The heads are the same 4.6 or 5.4. No one makes a 3v 5.4 Kenne Bell intake. Unless he had a turbo or centri, MMR or JPC won't be able to help him, especially with the KB intake.

I give it about 50/50 chance on the hood fitting.

I've seen a couple of 3v 5.4's with centri's on them in S197's ... bitchin setup.

The motor will likely have the front cover and timing chains, so that should'nt be an issue. The exhaust manifolds will bolt right up, although he may have to add an extension to the exhaust near the cats.
