A 5.4 swap can be done but it is not a small project. The 5.4 block will bolt right in and the 3v heads do work. However, the deck hieght is 1.5" difference versus the 4.6. So a custom intake from jpc or mmr is required. The stock hood will not clear a 5.4 with a kenne bell blower either. Even with adj motor mounts a different hood will be required. Exhaust manifolds or headers is another area to address. Timing cover, chains, tensioners also. I can keep going but bottom line its a big project!
