PVC hose question
Hi guys. Okay so I've seen some ppl with air breathers on the valve covers when the PVC hose would be COMEING from and going to the intake manifold. Can I do the same? I know the PVC system has oil vapors that can clog up the fins of your inter cooler and what not and I'm looking to either get the breathers or just disconnect the hose from the manifold and let it hang off the side some where but where you can't see it.. Can I do that? Will anything be affected by it??

Why not put one or two oil separators on it? There is a reason it is the way it is.

I have also heard that the breathers will eventually saturate with oil and dribble all over your engine. Go with the oil separator. You can even pick up a small one from Home Depot or Harbor Freight for less than 10 bux. 15 minutes to splice it inline and your done. I empty mine maybe every 3 weeks. About 2 teaspoons of oil. If it looks clean (no moisture) I dump it right back in the filler neck.
And PVC is what plumbers use, k?
