Recommend a stall converter please!

I have a 2006 mustang gt.
Cai, x pipe, tune, 4.10s, 0 degree plugs, and a zex 100 shot wet.
I need a new torque converter! So what stall speed should i be looking at?
Mostly street driven, sees the track 2x a month usually.
Not much hwy driving though!
I know i want a multi disk!
Thanks!

I'd call the manufacturer and give them your mods, etc.

2500-3000 may not be THAT street friendly, def not highway. Track.......weekend warrior!!:kooky::kooky:

I would definately go for a 3000 stall. I've ridden in a couple of cars with a 3k stall TC and they were very acceptable on the street, but still performed a lot better on the track.

One buddy in particular races the family Mustang in NMRA Superstang and his wife drives it through the week....with a 3K torque converter.

3k good

I have a 3k tci in my 08 with 4:10s and it is fine on the street. It still locks up cruising so good for DD. When you wot from a stop the tires squeal all the way into 2nd gear and I am running MT et streets. Not much difference when not at wot so I think you would be pleased, I am. Have 1 piece aluminum driveshaft also. Just keep od off unless you are cruising on the highway. You can play with shift points a little on your tuner to tweak it more to your liking. Go for it!
