Benefit in going 3.55>3.73 ?

On my '06GT, budget constraints are probably going to force me to stay N/A for the forseable future. That being the case, how much benefit would I see in going from the factory 3.55s (just checked the pumpkin last night - sticker still there at 10xxx miles) to 3.73s? This is my DD.

very little difference...5%, it's us that started with like 3.08 or 3.23 that get a bigger "kick"

There's basically no "noticeable" differences.

Thanks guys. That was sorta what I was figuring. Sounds like I'll be saving myself some cash on that front then. Excellent news!

You could look into some 3.90's if you want an extra kick until you can afford a supercharger or turbo. They say gears are the best bang for the buck, and are pretty cheap to buy and install compared to many other mods.

2003 Mustang GT
Intake & Exhaust: K&N FIPK CAI, Mac O/R H-Pipe, Custom Catback w/ Magnaflow Magnapack Mufflers.
Suspension: H&R Super Sport Springs, KONI STR.T Shocks & Struts, J&M Caster Camber Plates, Steeda Bumpsteer Kit, UPR Elite LCA's & UCA's.
Performance: BAMA 93R Custom Tune, FRPP 4.10 Gears w/ Terminator spec T-Lok.
Planned Mods: FLSFC, Eibach Sway Bars, Throttle Body, Plenum, Rims.

3.90s would probably be a bit too steep - this is my DD and I do have about a 20-25 mile drive to work every day, mostly highway/interstate. Maybe I'll hit the lottery and just go F/I!
